I would like to acknowledge that I live and work in Moh’kinsstis, the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 People which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Kainai, Pikanii, and Siksika First Nations), the Stoney Nakoda (comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney First Nations) and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta District 5 and 6.
